Ukulena's 'Lovers - EP' features two new original songs off of her upcoming second album, "Only Daddy Calls Me Marley".
Lovers - EP ~
1. Only Her Lover Can Love Her
2. Lovers
Ukulena wrote this song totally out of pure imagination. Experiences of different emotions helped her lyrics pour onto paper, which made her relate to all the emotions Wonderland drains from you. Her original song, "Lovers", is part two of her 'Lovers - EP', the wonderland side of her new EP and double-feature music video. Written about seeing your dreams and all the things you think you want through the looking glass, yet feeling like you can't quite reach them at all, you see what you think you love & admire from afar, but they all start to drown in front of you, and there's nothing you can do but feel that pain of helplessness. But then you come to realize down the road of healing, those things, those fake friends, those horrible lovers of the past, were never yours, never meant for you, and never were your dreams. You're better than that, and once you realize what went wrong actually saved you from worse life events happening, your life will level up, and you will then love yourself the most of all. With inspirations of the original, "Alice in Wonderland", quoting, "It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person back then."
