Ukulena is a 5 track EP produced by Travis Daggett & Marlena Lorèn Khramov (Ukulena). track 1, "I Wanna Be Like You", is a cover from the Disney movie classic, 'Jungle Book'. And track 3, the music is a cover of "Sleepwalk" the instrumental by Santo & Johnny, but with original lyrics inspired by Cactys Fire. Tracks 2, 4, & 5, are original songs written & composed by Marlena (Ukulena). And Ukulena is a play-on word of the artist Marlena and her ukulele. Ukulele + Marlena = Ukulena. On the EP we have Marlena Khramov (lead vocalist/ukulele/drums), Travis Daggett (upright bass/lead guitarist/percussion) and guest backup vocals, Mikayla Khramov on track 1. Album design, I'd like to thank Adam Petrasek. Album artwork & Ukulena logo, I'd like to thank Rafael Navarro. All tracks recorded at "Son Records" Studios with Travis Daggett (studio engineer). Here's a special shout out to those who helped Ukulena along her journey, especially, Adam Petrasek, Rafael Navarro, Ryan Aguayo, Janelle Frese, Mikayla Khramov, Julie Rasmussen, Wing Shun, Karen Chambers, Aaron Benvenuti, Riley Vincent, and Harrison Frese. Tracks 2, 4, and 5 are all written musically and lyrically by Marlena Khramov aka Ukulena! Come to one of her shows, she'll tell you the story behind her writing inspirations.
