"Never Was A Love Like Mine" was originally composed by Maury Laws & Jules Bass, sung by Gale Garnet in the 1967 Animated Film, "Mad Monster Party. Circa 2013, Marlena Lorèn & her dear pal, Dom Cruz recorded their first debut 9 track Album called "Glimpse" of just Vocals & Guitar, (Ukulele on one track). This Duo was so sweet & innocent of the young artists sprouting their skills. Unreleased on "Glimpse" was a recording of the 1967 tune, so a few years later into the now, Ukulena takes the old guitar track by Dominick Cruz, over-dubs new soulful vocals, & bam! The dreamy cover is born. (Just recorded & mastered two nights ago via Hollywood studio). Enjoy...
